Frequently asked questions

Can t-bot withdraw my money?
No. Your money never leaves your own exchange account: the keys are created with no withdrawal permission and locked to your server’s IP, so nobody —not the bot, not us— can move your funds. Only buy and sell orders can be placed.
Does it sell at a loss?
By default, no. An underwater position is held in your portfolio and used to lower your average cost. The stop-loss is off by default; you can enable it if you prefer a protective floor.
Does it buy on every dip?
It accumulates on dips to lower your average cost, but with a brake: each buy requires a bigger drop than the last and, if the whole portfolio falls sharply, it pauses buying to preserve capital instead of buying a market in free fall. It doesn’t sell anything —it just stops buying— and resumes on its own once it recovers. That threshold is configurable: tighten it, loosen it or turn it off.
Can I customize the strategy?
Yes. What we describe is the default behavior: you can enable a stop-loss, change the margins between buys, tighten or loosen entries, adjust maximum exposure and more. It’s your starting point; you tune it your way.
Can I step in manually?
Yes. You can adjust the configuration whenever you want and, if you need to, close a position by hand (protected by a second factor). The bot works on its own; the final word is yours.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. You don’t need to code: you just adjust a few parameters in the configuration, which you can change whenever you want.
Can I try it before investing?
Yes. It includes a simulation mode that runs on real market data but with no money, so you can see how it behaves before committing capital.
Can I invest in stocks?
Not for now: t-bot trades crypto assets only. You can pick any asset available on the supported exchanges.
Which exchange do you recommend?
We recommend Binance: the deepest liquidity —better fills for an accumulation strategy—, with competitive fees and euro trading. It’s also the exchange t-bot integrates most fully. It still works with OKX, KuCoin, Bybit and Kraken, too; you choose.
What if the server goes down?
Your funds aren’t affected: they’re in your exchange account, not on the server. Positions and history are saved in the database, so when the server is back up, the bot resumes from that saved state.
